Five Star is composed of just three members. On drums is Jay Mosbrucker. Playing guitar/singer/songwriter is Isaac Kuhlman. Playing bass is Justin Jahr.

Five Star is a punk/emo band from the heart of America. Hailing from Mandan, ND, we are always looking for the opportunity to go that extra step with the band.
My personal influences include Screaching Weasel, Blink 182, Primus, Less Than Jake, NOFX, Weezer, Reel Big Fish, etc, etc, etc.... Those talents combine to form what our music kind of sounds like.
I like to call our style "car wash" music. That's the type of music you would listen to if you were getting your car washed. I also like to refer to ourselves as the punk rocking hillbilly elite.
